My dear friend GENIE is one of those American people who love and know Paris better than I or any French will ever do!She's often visiting our capital and always comes back with fabulous pictures, that can be seen on HER BLOG.
From her last trip , she offered me this lovely souvenir: this bench was pictured in Impasse Florimont (XIVe). A famous french singer lived here: Georges Brassens. And this bench is just like him: simple, rustic, but so friendly..

Genie lives in USA, but she's in love with Paris since a long time, and she has a wonderful blog , named PARIS AND BEYOND,showing the"city of lights" through her lens..and her heart!

She offered me this picture, taken in the famous cemetery Père Lachaise, where many famous people rest.This cemetery is not a sad place, many people come to stroll there, and a bench is certainly welcomed once you walked several hours through statues, graves and monuments.
